Jay, sorry to hear about your indicator. Took the 4/4 to Prescott breakfast club this morning, bit difficult getting in and out, but no problem driving. Back must be returning to normal. Lots of MX-5s today. Very foggy and cold around the ears though.

Peter, sounds promising!! grin2

We Took the Zed to Shelsley Breakfast meet...a shame it clashed with Prescott this month.
It was packed with some interesting cars and huge queues for breakfast. It is getting a little too successful if you want to eat there! I was a tad distracted so didn't take any photos innocent

Popped out to the farm shop in Ruby and parked outside the front door, the young girl who served me ( about 18 ) said " is that your car it's amazing " if I had been about 40 years younger I would have offered her a ride love

We.. took Z... Distracted???
Good for you!
Was a shame about the clash, I think there were a lot at Shelsley that might otherwise have been at Prescott. One more meet at Prescott this year, I think...

Drove the 86 Plus 8 out to lunch today. Met up with a fellow Morgan owner (36 MK4 SS, 50 F Super) and 2005 Roadster. He had the Roadster. We parked adjacent and there was a definite difference in door lengths between the two cars. Although it wasn't overly apparent. Obviously mine was a short door and his a long door. I watched him get in and out of the car and he didn't go through the gyrations that I did. He is however a bit smaller than I. So I would have to say, albeit not terribly scientific, that the long door cars are easier to get into/out of than the short door cars.

Cheers,

Mark

Haven't yet but will. Heading to Lakeland Florida for a big show, the Lake Mirror Classic. Actually a number of shows happening simultaneously tomorrow. A Concours d'Elegance for some 125 cars. I have the 1938 DHC in this event and an Open Show for 500 + cars. I have the 1986 Plus 8 in the Sports Car Class in the Open Show. There will be other Morgans as well. Tom Coryn will have his 2005 Aero 8 in the Exotic Car Class, also in the Open Show. He is leaving his 1060 Plus 4 4 Seater at home. I suspect there will be more Morgans and will take pics and report back.

Cheers.
