Very good Peter! George? Not Aldermog II, or Aldermog V8??  Look forward to seeing the car soon... Why George? We were looking for a name. Aldermog is Aldermog. We can't have another Aldermog. We have to move on. This is the colour:  Somewhat unique, rather brown. But a bit flash... it is the metallic gold sparkle. Actually a Rolls Royce colour. All sorts of "agricultural" names were suggested. Not right at all. No dignity. But a Plus 8 is noisy, full of character if a little rotund when compared with a Trad Mog. So we needed something linking "Brown" with noisy, flash and a bit brash, but well meaning and with some dignity. Reminded me of George Brown. So George she is!

Gosh Peter... Did the TM factory visit to see Brian's SP1 do the trick? I seem to recall you posting that saw and/or took George out for a test run? Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. TBH I quite like the idea of a new Plus 8, especially an automatic. It got my second vote in Adrian's poll recently, after a Plus 4 of course  I just hope with all that BMW kit (engine, auto box, flappy paddles, etc.) you don't find it as "boring" as your 320i Touring
