I'll do that Richard but you will find that I have placed mine on the padded scuttle roll. I have had them a long time and bought them from Simmonds.I'll post a photo tomorrow.

Thanks meabh I'm still undecided as to mounting the screens - I love everything about them and they will visually decrease the height of my "fatboy" +8 (7"X 16" Centrelocks) in a way which appeals to me.

I can't say the weather matters much to me personally but if I can avoid a lapful of water I will.

The dilemma is this - I don't really want to wreck the leather on the scuttle and when I received this from a friend in the German Morgan Group it made me think of maybe building something smilar, it could avoid the lapful and certainly leaves the leather intact. It looks a little too modern in the lines it uses but this could be modified, in principle a good idea .
I have a friend with a serious engineering company who would let me use his facilities or build it for me.

p.s. Spares and then Racing screens is the route on their site.

Lovely drive in the early morning sunshine, sidescreens off and testing the new little wind deflectors... so far they seem very effective up to 40mph and make the car quite civilised without sidescreens!

Might get a lunchtime blat up the road to test them at higher speeds wink

Ah Richard you are not going to like what I have done because the mounts are indeed on the leather however when my wife returns home I will post a photo and then you can see for yourself. If I remember correctly there was an article on the Le Mans 62 site about improvements to a Plus Eight which included a neat one piece removable aeroscreen . It was in an issue of Morgan World.

What a difference a week makes, last Sunday we were having tea and biscuits at the V & A during the last day of our UK vacation and a week later we were taking a 200 mile round trip with 30 other British cars to Hell and back. That's "Hell" in Michigan, perfect weather cloudless sky and a slight nip in the air, pity about the forecast for the remainder of the week. I did manage to install the new AVO shocks before the run and what a difference, now to order 2 for the rear, another reason for another UK trip!!

Yes I could use the cost savings for justification of a return trip.

Plus SHMBO has no vacation left = more savings.
