i will....tomorrow! weather will be: 5 degrees and heavy rain!!! a total of 3.5h drive. that sounds promising :-) have to go to the dealers-shop. correcting some things under warranty. then back home.
weather forecast lied to me!...it was 3 degrees (not 5!) and heavy rain!!! ok: changed the right front windscreen (had lots of small cracks), changed the oil-seal of the crankshaft, tightend the upper-left wishbone screws. went all well and fast :-)
Drove from Aberdeenshire to Shropshire to see relatives, 900 miles in 6 days. Journey down was fine apart from 30 mins to do 3 miles through roadworks round Perth. Returning forecast was rain most of the way, it was 6C on departure. Got to Carlisle before it started to rain, crossing into Scotland it was heavy rain for 50 miles, very uncomfortable. I was glad I was not on M6 in Lancashire, the spray from 3 traffic streams would have been horrendous. After about an hour driving I'm looking to stop, 2 hours is the most I have done without stopping. Petrol on the motorway was £1.30/litre, just filled up locally at £1.21 & in Shropshire saw £1.20. I wonder if they are related to vampires?
I was surprised by crossing paris someone tapped me on the shoulder at a red light when i turned my head he just said hello and told me that I was lucky to have a nice car (two biker Police CRS), I said to him that it was a tricycle, it is true that I have less luck with 4 wheels without seat belts and no license plate on the front of the vehicle.
