Just to raise this subject.
My factory hard top looks stunning & seems to be a perfect fit,with one niggle.
The rear offside pin & spring arrangement keeps popping out. It is as if you cant't get enough downward pressure to compress the rubber seal enough to allow the lock to fully engage. You get a slight click but obviously it is not fully engaged.. Anyone know how to fix this? I believe the pins are exactly the same as those on the easy up hood.(. Yes I have one but have not taken it out of the bubble wrap yet)

The pin/spring mechanism is adjustable. Also, make sure that the handle under the dashboard is pushed all the way in before applying the downward pressure.

Having a LOT more knowledge now. Re- fitted hard top yesterday for winter. Much adjusting & discovered no lock nuts fitted. Ok fit some lock nuts. Would you believe it left & right rear fasteners ( old bonnet type) different threads.
Oh well it is a Morgan !

Interesting take on life Yuri, I like your philosophy (very slavic?). Also I ordered a hard top on my aero 8 (if I ever receive it here in the US)so I am interested in your comments and pictures. Michel, If you ever receive your hard top i would be very interested ... as I to have a series 3 Aero 8 and would like to know the following. (A) Does it fit correctly  (B) Does it look good  (C) Is it worth cost.
