What car would you say is most closely comparable with a Morgan? (in terms of the car not the cost)

Out of interest Sam, which one do you think is, and why?

Well tbh im not sure... but generalising I would say a kit car of some kind because of the design and the 'fix it yourself' aspect.

Sam, you need to do your research before you ask any further questions. As Paul has inferred, you will gain a lot more from your assignment if you engage in some introspection rather than just asking others to fill in the blanks. I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say that while we're happy to help you with your assignment, you need to show a little more effort. A good start would be to Google 'Morgan cars' and 'Morgan Motor Company'. If you read up on the history and the models produced, you should gain some insight into why, after nearly 100-years, MMC are still able to offer a vehicle that is attractive to consumers.

Sam - if you go through the older threads on this forum there are some good insights as to which cars appeal to members. You could start by 'profiling' who tends to own the cars, and looking at the nature of what a sports car actually is. Work back from what makes a Morgan special, and that should give you a match.
The links I provided earlier do contain some pretty ‘bang on’ quotes, but you’ll have to ‘dig’ to find some of them. This was not accidental.

Nearest car to Morgan, no idea, I stopped looking at car brochures long ago, with my company car I asked 'which has lowest tax liability'
Frankly do not think anything very close and I have a four seater, who else does anything similar to a 4 seat Morgan? even the little Jap Mazda is only a 2 seat and I would never get either myself or the wife into a Caterham.
So no real alternative, if you like Morgans buy one and be happy.

Pointless thread. Why compare everything? A Morgan is a Morgan because it's a Morgan, basta!

A 1950s MG? But brought up to date mechanically? I'd go for "brought partially up to date"

Dear sam your interest in morgans have intregued me. I personally believe that you are partly correct when you suggest a kit car as the list of difference's between one and any other car are endless. Obviously its not quite the same as the only thing to drive like a morgan, is a morgan Hope this helps you in you studies Regards Alfred
