As for the quoted MPG figures, they are optimistic at best. Real world conditions, mixed driving and not mashing the accelerator are delivering circa 40mpg - not bad but not even close to the 100+mpg quoted.

Also, whilst the door opening is attractive, it isn't functional unless you have very wide parking spaces... and where do you find those these days! Lamborghini seems to have nailed this with their scissor doors but the 'swan' style always smell of fashion over function to me.

Roll on the E-911 wink

I often wonder how they cope with rain pouring down the roofline with these "fashionable" doors - goodness only knows it's bad enough with a traditional Morgan as your weight hits the seat with the door open the leather on the inner sill area gets a good soaking.

They look beautiful a bit like the models that adorn them on occasion, like the doors I suspect their function would bely the form.

Not very good at cooking a full breakfast....

At least 3 TM members are female and then we have our Scottish colleagues who wear one when the occasion arises.

With the current neoprene fetish in full flight - it's anyone's guess as to numbers...

Welcome ot the world of BRAND BMW.

It creates a halo product at the top of the range, giving them room to raise other prices as £100k is not a shock anymore (audi r8?)

It makes the i3 look well priced by association.

It is priced out of the general markets ability to buy it.
Thats good because they are going to make a LOSS on every one they sell

But the effect will create a halo on a 320eD drone bomb which they sell milllions of.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
