And so it begins.... This is Southern Ontario's first snow of the season - the tail end of a system that's been hammering the Prairies (it's been down into the -20s in Alberta and Saskatchewan and there was a huge snowfall in Sault Ste Marie and the upper Michigan peninsula a couple of days ago). This was the view out of my office window at lunchtime today; hopefully it won't settle, and there might be another couple of days of Morganeering before winter sets in properly!

Sorry! Florida is nice, about 80 F. Took the Plus 8 out to get gasoline. Headed to Daytona for the Classic 24hrs on Saturday morning and wanted a full tank.

Sorry! Florida is nice, about 80 F. Took the Plus 8 out to get gasoline. Headed to Daytona for the Classic 24hrs on Saturday morning and wanted a full tank.

Cheers, Was watching NCIS yesterday, back here in Blighty, and the Doc "Donald Mallard" (Absolutely LOVE that - wonder if anyone bar the writer got that one !!) was driving his Plus 8 to rendezvous with Gibbs. Brilliantly scripted, a colleague is told to take Mallards car - he runs to driver's door, jumps in and does a double take as he finds the steering wheel is in front of the passenger seat (ie RHD). Three good mentions of "the Morgan". Anyway, back on message, drove Henrietta through the wind, rain and fallen branches down the A466 past Tintern into work, as ever, for my 100 mile round trip commute. Glorious sunshine on way home  Noticed when putting her away, that I've now got 59,226 miles on the clock so time to book the 60k service with Chunky. Cheers all !

I was out first thing this morning for the annual MOT. Wind and rain and a Met Office warning of possible floods, I put up what the mice have left of my hood with gaffer tape over the largest holes. Strangely one of the most enjoyable journies I've ever had!

Yes I should have said, it was the car's MOT - I had mine last week. Luckily the Morgan went straight through; but I have to go back in January for a retest!
