Ladies & Gents,
Leather on my '97 Plus 8 (pre-long door) has some minor scuffs/creases. Looking to spruce-up with some dye (or whatever). The leather seats are a light tan - trying to tie down exactly what colour they might be (Connolly or not etc). Any advice? Much appreciated. Kevin.

Lift carpet and cut a small section of leather that's hidden send to liquid Leather they will send you back a repair kit with an exact colour match mixed, for a reasonable sum. Follow the instructions, and your scuffs will be gone. I used it on my 96 +8 and the result was superb.

We've used Gliptone with great success too. I also use the conditioner on a regular basis to keep the leather well fed and soft.

I've also had success with Gliptone's products
Used the leather cleaner then the conditioner then their Dye by thinning it down and airbrushing onto the scuff
My leather is black which is easier to colour match so I would definitely let them match the colour by sending them a sample or give them a ring to see if they already know the colour
There are some other products that use a filler to repair scuffs, haven't used these but have heard not so good reports in that the filler just comes out
Gliptone's method of condition and condition some more seems to work
