Peter. From what I've read you weren't impressed by the colour when you first saw it, referring to a 1950 era? but you've warmed to it. Have to say I think its a great colour, slightly unusual and special. If you were building the car from scratch, what colour would you really, ideally have chosen?

A very difficult question!

If the boss had been in on the choice probably something rather conventional: Ferrari Le Mans Blue.

For me, Triumph Nuclear Red or Imperial Purple. Both are, shall we say, not exactly conventional......and would have been vetoed by swmbo

My M3W, when I get one, will be in one of these 2 colours....
