When I was in Dublin at the beginning of the month, I saw a cherry picker with the company name GPT painted on it - Galway Plant and Tool hire apparently.
It set me off laughing as it would never work over here in France; GPT pronounced as the French say their letters would sound like "J'ai peté" - meaning I've farted

I am a keen walker and whilst passing a lorry in a farm yard near Pewsey we noticed the words after the transport companies name: Pewsey - London - Paris - Chigargo - but mainly Pewsey. This makes me laugh every time I pass through.

Also reminds me of Stoke buses - Potteries Motor Transport or PMT.
On one bus were the words "PMT- please let me out." - someone had written underneath " OR I`LL SCREAM!"
