Folks,

Could someone remind me how to calibrate the speedometer on a 4/4 (Sigma engine 2009). According to my 'SpeedoMeter' App on the phone the Morgan speedo is reading 10K per hour (at 100kph) faster than reality. No harm probably (!) but I would like to fix it if possible.

Any thoughts welcome.

Rgds

Press the button of the speedometer and than turn on the ignotion. Now your are in the programming mode. With pressing the button again you can change the numbers. A good description is on Caerbont's website www.caigauge.com.

Mine is about 3-4 MPH out - shows faster than really going according to Tom Tom & roadside speed monitors - but I like to keep it that way as I have so far avoided any speeding fines. Better to read a bit high than risk reading low IMHO

Mine has been a mess since the beginning: used to increment at speeds of 70-80 mph (would literally go all the way around the meter and stay there until car was restart). Apparently the problem doesn't lie on the speedo itself (smith) but rather on the sensor to the front right wheel.
Some changes have been made but the incrementing now starts after 90mph is reached....
Very disappointing!

Something really strange has happened to my speedo. It has always under read according to the GPS reading about 3 mph under at most speeds from 30 up but yesterday bringing her home after her factory visit for the wings I noticed that she was reading spot on at all speeds confused2

Well they did have the dash out to fit a new heater fan control switch.

Just wanted to thank the team at MMC for fixing my recurring speedo issue: I've been driving vMog for 2 months now and the incrementing default I had seems to have disappeared for good!

drive thumbs drive
