Second reflashed speedo arrived and it looks like the solution.

After changing the speedo I tested on the Autobahn from 90 km/h to 180 km/h (first time so fast) and everything worked perfect. Also the AVR function seems to work correct now .

For those with the new VDO speedo you should check if there is a green dot on your speedo then it is reflashed and the problem should not appear.

I have a +4 delivered end of July. Having read your post a friend of mine pointed out that my odometer does not work at higher speeds and the needle is very erratic above 55 mph. Reported erratic reading to dealer who said he would replace under warranty but nothing happened yet.

AS explained above your dealer should reflash at the factory and everything is OK. It is a well known problem.
