As I said in an other topic, Mrs H3 & I plan to have our next holidays in Eire on next September.

Unfortunatly, as we live in Reunion Island, we can't take our roadster with us.
Instead of stupidly rent an ugly car at the airpport at the arrival, it could be a good idea to rent a 4/4, a +4 or V6 roadster for 2 weeks.

Do you know if it's possible?
(in France, you can rent a mog: The Classic Route . Maybe it's possible in Ireland?)

Thank you for your help

Try here (from the MMC website - European dealers)? Some UK dealers have cars for rental, perhaps the Irish dealer will too.

There's an article here:

Or alternatively why not try the Lake District (Cumbria, UK) - it's a great area for a Morgan - where you can hire a Mog and accommodation:

There doesn't seem to be a Morgan owners' club in Eire but perhaps someone from the MSCC in the UK could advise.

Enjoy your holiday

There are about 30 Mogs in Ireand and, being averse to formality we operate as a group with one person having all e-mail addresses. I doubt the new dealer will have a mog to rent, but I'll see whether or not one of the group might oblige.

I am in Rwanda until next weekend, but when I get home I'll consult the "Gang"

Cheers!

Well, thank you for your help, but I doubt that an individual (not a company) would like to hire his/her Mog' to a total stranger (and a French!).
There is a lot of personnal and affective investment in our cars...
Personnally, I wouldn't! smile smile
