Have no sun visors on my Mog , how on earth do I get some and avoid drilling holes in the windscreen !

There should be lugs attached to the top of the windscreen frame to fix them to. IMHO they are a waste of time, they simply don't blot out the sun it tends to come over the top of the screen and miss the visors. Save your money and buy a decent baseball cap with a long peak.

Had a long drive today and in the low winter sun the sun visors were very effective. Will depend on how tall you are, I am not, so for six footers I can imagine you would be sitting too high for them to be of much use

My preference is tinted perspex which fit quite rigidly over the screen and also deflect the wind.

You can buy them from the factory or ones that clamp over the rail.

I have a spare set of the recent black ones, but no car to fit them on at the moment ! They are invaluable driving into a low sun. I could let them go for a reasonable offer if you want? You need to check that you have the threaded slots on the inside face of the top of your windscreen frame.

Wouldn't do without them but not a tall guy and they make good wind deflectors so I can keep my cap on at speed.

I can see justification for the return of the green sunstrip... Maybe even with the obligatory 'Kevin and Sharon' lettering , Apologies for any Kevin's or Sharon's on here!
I agree, the low sun is blinding and even a long peaked hat did little to help.

Good thing I/we weren't in the lovely green Mog on the way back from Cromer today as the sun was a blinder , was in her the last time on this trip and couldn't see a thing - one handed driving !
