You are right about the Cruise Control. On my "other" BMW it is built into the steering wheel and works very well indeed, easy and intuitive.

The main use for cruise control is to set it at 32mph when driving in urban areas where speed cameras are an infestation....

Agreed - on my 5 series the cruise works rather well but the Morgan version is a truncated version of the old 3 series cruise control and while it works it always confuses me when I (occasionally) try it (mainly to see if it is still working and whether I can remember what to do).

My car's a manual transmission of course being an S3 and cruise control on manuals is always a bit odd - not great for setting to 32mph because of gear changing. Really only useful on the motorway to rest your right foot / ankle. Driving position is so good that it's hardly necessary anyway...

Mega thanks to Milligoon, cheers

The Angel Eyes now work without the "computer" complaining of a broken bulb!

This was the solution:

LED Load

A pair arrived today and with a bit of soldering and shrink tube all is done!

Looks great and works.

Interestingly, I discovered that with the ignition off if you indicate left or right the front and rear side lights on that side illuminate. Just like on the "other" BMW!
