More Tarka Photos
A couple of photos:
The first is inside the cockit, showing the inner sidescreen trimmed out by Austin at Williams: I discovered that this Plus 8 was one of the last 1 or 2 cars he trimmed before leaving Morgan to move to Williams! I still need to fit my Sat Nav.
The second is our "slimline" leather case: bought from Jays when he changed to Nero it coordinates perfectly with Tarka's colour!
The Third is the new LibrandsDoor Check for the Plus 8: unlike the standard ones it locates over the upper hinge and sits higher up the door, which I think is an improvement. In the kit are supplied new stainless steel set screws to replace all the nasty and probably rusting hinng screws, plus new screws to fill the holes left where the old leather strap once was located.

Noise is very much reduced. No front end noise whatsoever! Although this could be due to road dirt filling ones lugoles up!

vMog is a 2013 +4/ 4 seater, dark red with saddle brown trim, wooden dashboard and console.

As a matter of interest Peter: what's the space behind the seats like now? I was told that the factory were eliminating the lockable box, and possibly changing some other aspect of the layout, to give more useable storage. This, for me, is the main disincentive to take the Plus 8 further. And is there storage for the sidescreens -other than the rack?

My 2013 car has only 2 dash mounted speakers which do not provide the best sound from the Alpine stereo. If you have time please would you post a couple of photos of the speakers in Tarka mounted behind the seats and in the foot-wells.

Many thanks for taking the trouble Peter. I can see that the space is now more versatile than previously: but I doubt if there's much point in asking Rob and Heather Hill to design me a set of bespoke fitted luggage! Looks like Aero 8 Series 5 is what I need

Looks like Aero 8 Series 5 is what I need I'm working on a locker to fit between the seats, above the transmission tunnel and hard against the bukhead. It will be a reasonable size and can be locked. We have a couple of MMC's leather grips and they fit well behind the seats, although the do muffle the sound...!! Aero 8 Srs 5... I think that is the Plus 8. Interestingly on the V5a it is described as a Morgan Super Sport!!
