Good Morning,
Last week I had a 2 hours ride in my 2009 V6 Roadster.
After that, I noticed that my car was loosing cooling fluid.
A plastic angle piece seems to be the cause of that leak.
The local dealer told me that I will have to change the whole radiator, as this piece couldn't be repaired.
Is that true ?
Is there a possibilty to repair or replace this angle ?

There have been isolated reports on this Forum of catastrophic coolant loss caused by failure of the plastic part of the radiator.
It seems that some of the radiators fitted by MMC in the 2008-2010 period may not be robust enough.

The answer is probably to fit an all aluminium radiator from MulFab.

I suspect that if your radiator is weeping at this point it is going to fail.....sooner than later.

and ask for an alloy one incl the clips to hold it

Have to agree with Peter, Mulfab makes the best Alloy rad for your model. Last week when fitting a Stubby valance to a customers Roaster, we had a conversation about his new Mulfab Rad the chap was very pleased with it, it looked very good.

Another vote for Peter Mulberry here. I've got a Mulfab radiator on my tuned 4/4 and it's excellent.

My plus 4 2007 has had a Mulfab rad fitted by previous owner , but really for a car this young ......?

I had the same problem on my 2008 Roadster, I replaced it with a Mulfab Alloy rad. They are great and the car runs cooler. It comes with all the fittings and you can do it yourself. The cost is a bit more than having the radiator with the plastic parts re- fitted.

All this talk of replacing with a Mulfab is all very interesting and I am sure they are excellent.

However how much does it cost to buy one and have it fitted?

We are talking about a 5 year old car here. I wouldn't be happy. I have only just replaced the rad on my 23 year old Morgan, and that could have been repaired, rather than having to replace it.

My thoughts exactly as my previous post , the mulfab is going to be serious money ( need to check my Mog file) , very bling though !
