I have been tinkering with my recently acquired S4 Aero 8 today and would be grateful for a bit of guidance from other owners.

1. I want to remove both front seats but cannot see the bolts for the rear of the runners, where are they accessed from?

2. In the handbook the tyre pressure is 25psi, my car is currently 18psi all around, is this the previous owners personal preference? maybe a softer ride or do you all run your Aero's at 25psi and I should follow suit?

Thank you all

Michael

Deffo 25psi mate

There should 10mm bolts in the rear of seat base. Slide the seats as far forward as possible

Hi Lawrie
Tyres now upto 25psi

I can see the front seat bolts but I cannot see the rear ones even with the seat fully forward, I don't see any way of accessing the rear of the seat rails as the seat won't go that far forward, I seem to remember on my old S2 Aero the rear bolts were accessed underneath the car but cannot see them there either?

I have noticed a distinct hardening of the ride in my Aero since increasing the pressures to 25psi, has anyone experimented with lower pressures without too much uneven tyre wear resulting or negative affect on the handling?

Unbolting the rear seat runner had me scratching my head! The answer is to climb onto the other seat and you can then reach down to reach the nuts.
