Fascinating pistol Spirit. I use to shoot for many years, target pistols, both full and small bore and clays. Sadly due to some horrific shooting incidents in the UK, it became increasingly difficult to own firearms and I gave it all up. Restrictions here on firearms never had any impact on criminal use and that has increased over the years but at least there have been no further incidents like Hungerford.
It is strictly a close range weapon, intended to be used as a concealed carry personal protection gun when using the .45 caliber load.
It is not meant to be used for sport shooting, but it is also a good weapon to deal with snakes and varmints when loaded with .410 gauge shells.
I like carrying it when out working being that it is small and does not get in the way of work activities, yet is still readily available at will.
Yes you are correct, laws and regulations restricting guns do not reduce crime.
Statistics show that the crime rates drop when the legalized ability of the citizenry to carry canceled guns is implemented.
Criminals do not know who has a gun and who does not, so they reduce their brazenness.
Problem is not guns; the problem is a permissive liberal society that gives criminals more rights than victims.
As the saying goes: “When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns”.
