That Thruxton really does like the dogs danglys, one of my favourite bikes of all time. It also looks great with the silver tank, I've ony ever seen them with black tank, which make them look a bit 'heavy'.
I can't present an old bike, but that's the one in my garage today (the lady stays in house) More tourqe, more BHP, more cylinders, and close to the weight to my M3W. And the bike is reliable....

Mike, great job your pal has done on the Velo. Looks very nice... Only thing I'd do is fit the right front pipe. If you have the chance buy it from him! There's one on eBay for £35k at the moment. Mine was great fun at the IOM, didn't miss a beat. Steve
Most of the pictures of bikes I have owned are on a different computer then this one. I'll just list them in a close order of ownership: 1. Yamaha DT2 2. Honda 350 scrambler 3. '48 HD 50 4. '58 HD shovelhead 5. '60s BSA Lightning 7. '67 BSA Spifire 8. '56 Indian Chief 9. '50 Vincent BS 10 50s Parilla 250 11. 60s Honda 305 Scrampler 12. '26 BSA 250 13. 80s Kawaski 1100 tourer 14. '72 BMW R75/5 15. 2005 Ducatti 900 16. 60s Honda CA 110
Now I have only the BMW, the '26 BSA and the Honda CA. I sold the Vincent a couple of years back as I was having difficulty swinging my leg over it to dismount. I'm 73 now. Bought a '52 Plus 4 project with part of the proceeds. Jay Leno told me you never sell your Vincent. If I made 78 million dollars a year I would say that too.
