Not sure how some of you will take to our North American cousins recreating a three wheeler. I'm sure those that don't will voice their opinions I doubt if anyone will be on the fence, I like it Link to ACE Cycle Car below ACE Cyclecar

Kin, It is, it also looks very well engineered, I think they have sold one or two onto Europe. Having owned a couple of Harleys I can imagine these sound terrific They guy said eventually they would post someting on U Tube , but not seen anything yet

I like it, but still prefer the Triking, as to my non-engineer eyes it looks much better engineered, more delicate though not fragile and with the Moto-Guzzi engine more in keeping with the spirit of the original Morgan Trike. There is also another replica built in Argentina, but I can't remember the name of the manufacturer, now added - Jeluli.

The Jelui looks stunning. Is it too late to write to Santa but it would need the Guzzi engine!

Aeroman, Not sure how a big capcity, pushrod, narrow angle, air cooled vee twin is not in keeping with the spirit of the original These photos look very similar Original and ACE There are a lot more parts to tune the Harley engine and it has a great spread of torque

Andyman Just a personal opinion, which the heading did seem to encourage! To my (non-engineering eyes) the HD looks too heavy, too narrow an angle Vee, has too much chrome and generally, the Ace looks too much of a blacksmith's job compared to the stick-insect delicacy of the original. Give me a Triking or a Jeluli any day; just my 2p worth.

Brian I thought it would create some divisions amongst the Moragn community. My choice would be the ACE, I like the look and build and I doubt the Guzzi engine will have the same 'grunt' or sound as the Harley. the Cost is prohibitive even when a £1 was worth $2:) Another question I ask myself is what would the Areo have been like with the small block Corvette V8 engine? I understand the factory tried it and decided to go the BMW route instead, maybe that's a subject for another thread

Another question I ask myself is what would the Areo have been like with the small block Corvette V8 engine? I understand the factory tried it and decided to go the BMW route instead, maybe that's a subject for another thread What do you think the DeWalt racers have that are in the US.... and TBH if that'what the Aero was offered with then I'm sure I'd still have one. I personally whilst I appreciate both the links you have been posted neither realy match up quite to the vintage feel of the original but then again I don't think they were intended to. The first with the HD engine is an interesting modern interpretation, but the "thick-set" HD engine and the double wishbone suspension really detract from the original architecture. As for the Juli it seems that "he did it his way" in a mechano and nails sort of way. All replicas I've seen tend to end up somehow screwing up the front end proportions either due to engine size/set or revised suspension & steering both of which are more than evident in the Ace....
