What's snow? Due to be 39 degrees C here tomorrow!
Great shots. This is snow. (taken from the sitting room window of my ski flat).  36 hours beforehand, all of this was green. The dump of snow caused carnage on the roads in the Northern Alps on Saturday, with some folk trapped in their cars for hours, with many being put up in makeshift accommodation in school gymnasiums & the like. Mind you, thank goodness that it's arrived at last; the ski season was looking very shaky.

I hate the stuff give me a sunny summers day green lawns stunning flowers and a mog on full chat, stopping for a cool 1/2 of the black stuff to wash down the dust while sitting outside a pub enjoying the sun on my face . Snow is OK when you are a school child with a sledge , snow down your wellies, wet socks and gloves , frozen wet toes and fingers . Mates shoving snowballs down your pullovers and wellies . Runny noses , chapped lips you can keep the bloody lot I had enough of it as a lad.
