Went out for a half hour blat - top up the battery etc. Sorry - wimped out & had top up - but have an eye infection so did not want it to get too much wind in the eyes.
Nothing wrong with top-up in the winter (waiting for incoming from JTL... ), as long as you are actually driving your P&J.
My first post-Xmas 03.00 run into Bristol tomorrow. Minus 8 or 9 forecast, so top on, heater on and ski hat firmly on. Might even have to take Peter up on a certain offer...
Had a lovely top down drive on a perfect clear winters day. Drove approx. 30 miles to llansteffan beach then a bracing walk with the dog. Went in company with no 1 daughter and family in their convertible Rover mini. Drew the usual interest and and chat in the car park. Lovely day to own a open car.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.
Not driven yesterday but fitted a Rapide cold air induction to 4/4, all on my own and I'm not a spanner molester. Today the remote greasing kits for front suspension. Santa was good to me and more to come.
2022 Plus Four, 2023 Super Three, Range Rover Vogue SDV8 and Triking T3.
Short trip to town to have my hair done......not a long job. Just tonneau cover and it was superb. Met for a coffee in the shopping zone....she said she heard me before seeing me. Took a scenic route home to warm up the engine and open her up on a nice short stretch.
Visited a friend about a 40 min drive through the lanes. Pretty cold so thought I would try the heated seats had to stop after 2 miles and turn it off otherwise would have been roast buttocks. Great ride heater and Joe Bonamassa on full blast. Got almost home and saw the dreaded grit lorry coming towards me at warp factor 5 pulled over and hoped he would take the hint but no splattered me with grit and salt why do they have to drive so fast
Had a few runs taking the grandchildren out the other day. They loved "Granddad's car without a roof!" Unfortunately, I won't be taking the Morgan (or any other car) out for about six weeks as I have just broken a bone in my foot and am now wearing a "Moon Boot" on my right foot. Foolishly, I messed about with a heavy manhole cover and dropped it on said foot causing much blood on patio and a trip to A & E. Very frustrating. The good news is that it is a clean break and at least I am not mussing any summer weather. The Morgan is, however, uninjured.
Sorry to hear about your foot hope it repairs ASAP
