I'm more a Hurricane man myself - the spitfire is just a bit too modern for my tastes - all those pointy wings, curvy bubble cockpits and tiny tail fin.
But then what do I know, I'm a four wheeler

If you strapped four three wheelers under a lancaster not so noisey but very nice in a morgan sort of way Only one three wheeler under a Lancaster but it's a start.

I remember flying in them when the ATC used them: Tangmere about 1965.....they were not exactly performance! They were still using them at RAF Cosford in the 1970's when I was in the ATC and did a 20 flight Pre Pilot Training course.
