Great video Peter. Love those tunnels. Could drive through those all day every day making totally unnecessary gear changes... Not really done that much with the 4/4; however, when I owned a Ducati

Our local main road joins the Superstrada, a 4 lane divided road, within the last 100 metres of a tunnel. I take great delight in accelerating in that last 50 or so metres of the tunnel after coming on to the Superstrada. The speed limit at that point is 70 km/h. The sound echoing in the tunnel is like a small plane taking off. The other day I saw another car approaching in the far lane as I entered. I did my usual enthusiastic acceleration and then looked in the rear view mirrors to check for the position of the other car, nothing, I then turned my head and right beside me was a police car of the Polistrada (Highway Police). I looked at the speedo, 90 km/h, oops! I backed off to 70 and they continued on without even batting an eyelid.
Sportscar with load exhaust, quite understandable, 20 km/h over the speed limit, that's not too fast. Slowed down when he saw us, that's due respect. Have a nice day, ciao.

Hello, today is a public holiday in parts of Germany. Motivated by your meetings in the last days under worse weather conditions in UK and Peters nice video from one of my favourite holiday areas I uncovered the morgan for a quick tour trough the Black Forest. Beautiful winter sun and still a little snow left. Markus

Yes, about 15 miles in the Plus 8. Sunny and warm today. Supposedly cooler tomorrow when I will have to take the Plus 8 out again to a dinner engagement at another Morgan owners house. (05 Roadster, 36 MK4 SS, 50 F Super) The Plus 8 is my current driver as my tin top is finally being repaired this week after playing bumper cars Mid December. $4.25K (USD). Unbelievable. Thank goodness the guilty party's insurance paid for it.
Cheers,
Mark

Dunster should be fun over the next few months Keith, with the road being shut...

Did quite a bit of Morgan driving over Xmas so here are a few thoughts. . . .
My sun visors are essential. Not in the correct folded down position as I am too tall and can't see under them, but straight up above the windscreen they block the morning sun into the city perfectly.
Can't understand previous comments that it is too hot to drive with the hood down in summer, I cruised around on a 42C day this week and the breeze keeps it fine, just need the right hat/suncream.
I would like to work out how to stop my heater drifting out hot air, despite the fact that it is turned off!?
Must get some AVOs for the rear, factory fit shocks are very ordinary. Will pick some up on my next trip to the old dart.
The bike rack I designed to fit on the luggage rack is working very well. Takes two minutes to fit with 3 Velcro straps, and two more minutes to attach the road bike with 5 Velcro straps.
Just have to get the dent in the rear of the wing from backing into a pole while on the mobile 'phone taken out,and all will be perfect!
