I thought you might be interested to see my two photos of M3W this week, a very nice Brooklands having its final inspection and a black one. I was quite surprised how quiet this part of the factory was, only one car was being built.

I am guessing that the Brooklands is the last one available.

Isn't the yellow jobby, one that the ex. police officers use to teach people how to drive Three Wheelers? I'm sure they must get a small discount?

It struck me that if the assembly area is so quiet, it can only be because there is a lack of orders for the Three Wheelers. Now, I wonder why that could be?

We were told it was because 'they're not back from Christmas yet'. Funny then that next door in the 4 wheeled car factory everyone else was back. laugh2

One of our group had just ordered a Roadster and was getting delivery in May, so the main factory can't be that busy either. I would have thought a lead time of 4 months is not enough for a business this size? A small down turn in the economy and work might just dry up?

Friend of mine has just ordered a new Plus 8, changing his Roadster. (What have I done?)

Delivery end April, early May.

Seems MMC delivery is presently 3 to 4 months for a car, a month more for Aero based cars and 2 months for a 3 wheeler. To be honest this is good, in today's market people don't like to wait.

I'd love to buy a new +8, we saw one performing a brake test on the hill and the sound was Awesome! My friend paid £52k for his roadster but couldn't justify the extra £30,000 for the +8. Thats about where I'm at as well.

Regarding lead times on a 3 wheeler, mine was ordered sept 20th last year and its ready now for collection, so i make it amost 4 months. That was on a asap basis too.
