The first thing I did on my US 2012 M3W was take all the warning stickers off before they became part of the paint. One feels the heat coming off of the engine. Any animal, including humans, will avoid just by sensing. Government bureaucrats, as well as insurance pipples, will have a field day over the potential for harm in these unfettered displays of wanton heat and danger to the ozone layer.

I am not defending our idiocy by any means. We completely allow nutters to run around with weapons loaded while shopping Walmart so cruising around with unprotected unwrapped headers appears to be a small thing...

The central mirror should give you a clear sight of the third brake light though ... very useful laugh2

The taller roll hoops plus head rests are a £317 option in the latest UK price list

The headrests on the roll hoops is not a bad idea. Banging your head on one of the hoops would do more damage to your head than the hoop. Perhaps the design could be more attractive.

The mustache is because the air intake and filter have been moved under the front bonnet (hood US). This is to reduce the intake, therefore total, noise to comply with car ADRs (Australian Design Rules). I don't know why it was not possible to modify things, move theintake to the rear, so that the tubes went straight back.

Australian law is quite hard on performing any aftermarket modifications that are not approved. You would only have to get pulled up by the wrong cop to land in a load of problems and perhaps even have your P&J impounded. Fortunately the Morgan is such that very few would know what it should be like.

That intake system looks like roo bars to me.

Hopefully the thing still perfroms with all that pipework.

Headrests look good though

It seems the intake could have been moved to the other side (back on the M3W). Hesketh is doing it on their S&S X Wedge engines.
