They must have stopped fitting them circa 2009 - my 2008 he'd them but not the 2010.

Can't cope without side lights - had them retro fitted!

My (recently acquired) 2005 Morgan has the light units fitted on the front wings but I was astonished to find they did not work. The supplying dealer explained that the wiring is there but they are not wired up as the headlight units already incorporate side lights. It only took a short time to connect the wiring to get the lights working. Incidentally, when I was considering a new Morgan, I was told I could specify it with side lights on the wings.

IMO the wing lights are an essential feature of the trad Morgan style.

I added them aftermarket ( the wiring was there) and it transformed the look of the car- for the better

Would I or wouldn't I?
Wing lights that is........
If buying new then I might try without initially.
I do like them though, they add to the period look of a Morgan and are nice on a dark night, the faint glow just visible round the edge.
They also seem to draw the attention of oncoming drivers as they are something "not normally seen" .
As for other adornments......

If I was buying new I would definitely have them fitted. IMO the trad looks incomplete without them.
