Hello everyone...

My father completed the restoration of his "1960 plus 4" about three years ago. I helped with the project when I could, and my interest in Morgan's began to grow. It was completed beautifully, with Dad's care and passion for his car. having the opportunity to drive in his car with him was great, and my interest in Morgan's grew even more. He tossed me the keys one Friday and said take it home and enjoy it for the weekend. It was unforgettable. As all of you know; Morgan's give you a truly unique and fun experience. My interest peaked and I now have a true passion for these beautiful cars.

I asked Dad if he would be interested in helping me find and restore another Morgan. It turns out he was very interested. So about six or seven months ago I purchased a disassembled "1960 plus 4 DHC" (less than 200 cars newer than Dad's). Most of the parts and bits and pieces were present, but the body tub was missing (found one in California, USA).

The restoration is currently going well, and I am having a great time spending time with my father and taking on this project with him. We are hoping to have the Car finished by the end of the upcoming Summer. I can post pictures of our progress if people are interested.

Classic +4s are becoming quite rare now , +4DHC are doubly so. Congratulations.

The expert on DHC bodies on your side of the pond is Ron Garner (he is south of the border though)

I think you will find the mechanicals are mostly available either in original , or updated, form , but it will be the woodwork, bodywork and trim parts that will be the real challenge.

Welcome, on days when the work seems tough or frustrating just keep thinking of going for a drive in both cars with your father, love to see some photos whenever you can. Good luck and safe miles to you both.
