I have these fitted as i like the vintage look. However the MOT man last year was not so keen and put them down as an advisory, so must remember to remove them this year. So its best to leave the clips so they can be easily removed.

That MOT man needs a serious talking too
Nothing there that's Advisory ?
As for not losing these covers
Take a small zip tie and secure the uppermost clip to the mesh
If you are careful you can barely see it
Then if you hit a bump it may jump free BUT you won't lose it
I have done this on my car after I lost a cover
You cannot even see them on the photo below
The bonus is you can flick the mesh out for cleaning and just clip it straight back
cheers
Sorted

Mine are a different fit again... Not very easy to take on and off so my MOT man can go hike if he raises it

Hi Alalante,

They are the originals as you have on your Super Dry model...I have just modified the fixations using the original ones. One side fixed with a Blind Bold and the other fixed through a screw from the inside holded by an tumb screw.

No patents, ready for you to copy cheers

Cheers,
Georges

Well here's the finished job. It uses the two screws at the top and bottom of the headlight.
