As others have said, smoke the tyres and then your own pace. For a thrill go see Chunky4/4 racer and get a ride with him driving one of the Williams Mogs, great fun.

OK
You have convinced me so I will be there and hope to put faces to a few names from TM, thanks for the encouragement.

You won't regret it Michael. The little red devil gets the better of you when you are sitting on the chock on the start line! It doesn't matter how much rubber you burn off your tyres on the start as most Morgan tyres get replaced as they're too old not because they've run out of tread!

Spot on! It's not a timed run so just "Thrill the crowds on the Hill" day.....
I was at a charity day at Prescott a couple of years ago and that's what pleased the crowds. Some big engined cars generating smoke like a destroyer hiding itself!
There were a couple of screeches from the bends towards the top but thankfully no bangs.
Stirling Moss did his slowest time ever.....chauffeured up in a vintage Lagonda.
Mrs Moss was much faster in a Bugatti type 55 ( I think), her driver didn't hold back much at the start. Awesome.
Graham.....that was the first time we met as you were marshalling.
Remember that GT40 kit in Gulf colours. My favourite car was the 2 litre Bristol in bare aluminium....I have photos tucked away somewhere.

That's on again 9/10 May .....see Adrian's posting in Meets section. Well worth attending!
It was very wet! Me and Adrian in Nero.
