At our school those who were caught for misdemeanours were given a choice of a wallop from the black pump or the white one. It was always a rather grubby size 12 plimsol at my school.....I was at the receiving end a few times!

I did think about banning you all...
Oh dear. Cast into the wilderness, how would we survive...  ...but I'd rather keep you as members and make you suffer that way Now, that's more like it  Can't say it's exactly suffering though

We were canned...with full force and regularity .
So bad once dad took my brother to the docs with a badly bruised bottom.
A report was sent to the school ...nothing changed.
When I think back it really is almost beyond belief!
