You're lucky they're the same each side! hide

That's a good point, I've not taken delivery yet and only have a picture of one side, maybe there is a Welsh flag on the other side (in chrome) ! laugh2

My thoughts too. I thought the origin of displaying badges like this was to show where the car was made - perhaps somebody might confirm/correct? It's. Definitely a British or English built car not European.

Just imagine if every car built now had to display badges on the side of where it was built. You would have Mercedes & BMWs with South Africa badges on the wings and Jaguars & Land Rovers with Chinese badges.

Well to be fair there's no way of getting it wrong, a one sided image is the same either way up.

Oh yes there is. The Union Flag can be flown upside down. It signifies that the flier is in distress. laugh
Maybe it not so obvious on this badge but you can make out the dominance of the Saltire Cross in the top left quadrant.

If you google Union Jack ...or Union Flag....oops let's not start that one again!

You will find lots of sites explaining the "right" way up.

I of course recalled it from my Cub Scout days and merchant navy days?!,!

BTW upside down IS a distress signal....and we would not want that....well not in a Morgan!

So perhaps the M3W boys need the badges so that they can turn them upside down when the bevel box is getting too noisey? innocent hide

I put mine (monochrome) just in front of the upper door hinge on the pillar. It is self adhesive.

Did anyone notice the tax disc?

Maybe this is a suitable badge?

BTW it is a FLEG! You need to understand that I am an Ulsterman to get that expression.

You can also buy a pair of hand enamelled stick on union flags from the Club's web site for £10 which includes posting & packing.
