this band is not for normal-bike-use....its made of ceramic and normally used within big engine rooms. means: its used for heat protection at big and hot diesel engines in the heavy industry. its 3mm thick and very durable. there is no extra-color in it, its made in that color. so, there should be no color-loss.
today, i made a run for 40km...now the ceramic-band does not "steam" anymore! nice :-)
Indeed the first run with the bandages is always funny mine was with a lot of smoke during the first half an hour....an absolute eyecatcher, belongs to the 'morgasm' posts
