Not an unacceptable impact , in fact I expected it to be a bit too much , easier to hear the pops and bangs and looks amazing , easy to spot on cold mornings driving off with condensed gases out of the side of the Mog ! Will it make a standard exhaust a bit more noisy do you reckon cutting back to the silencer? I didn't have to do any cutting , just pulled out the long librands pipe out of the silencer and replaced it with the librands short right angle on their website - not much louder , was surprised how fine it was and have since then had their freeflow manifold put on which has made the sound much deeper ! No complaints from wife either so that must be ok !

Can be many original parts left on your Morgan now? I didn't have to do any cutting , just pulled out the long librands pipe out of the silencer and replaced it with the librands short right angle on their website - not much louder , was surprised how fine it was and have since then had their freeflow manifold put on which has made the sound much deeper ! Just to complete topic...
Just got my 4/4 back from first free service at Phil Ledgerwood and among other things I had a sports/straight through silencer fitted which Phil has specially made by Powerflow:
Happy now...it has a deep burble on tickover and a nice bark on the move with a fantastic crackle and pop on the over-run...perfect gives the car more "road presence" and better gases flow...need K+N now .Can nearly play a tune with new sound !!!
Seasons greeting to all

Each listener has a unique opinion on what is a "noisy", and maybe even to "noisy" engine sound.
