Well I don't know what has happened but for the first time ever I have given a name to a car. Margot even has her name in dark green letters on each side of the bonnet and is no longer referred to by my other half as 'your car' 'the Morgan' and other less savoury descriptions.
However I may get myself in trouble with those not familiar with the idiosyncracies of Morgan ownership as when my youngest son, he is 22, asked why I had dirty hands this evening I explained that I had spread Vaseline on Margot's dry bits and greased her nipples. Fortunately my wife almost understands and simply smiled but I think my son is looking to leave home.

A very long time ago I passed my driving test in a ford popular 100e with a numberplate HDY 54 so have had this plate made for my Mog TY54HDY and this is why she is known as Heidi ! My surname is Tapley hence th TY

I have a Mable Morgan +8,and a Gatsby DHC under restoration.  likes to name all our cars.PS there is also Wilf the moggie traveller. nearly forgot Bumble the yellow 107.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Picked up my black Roadster from Williams having part exed Gretchen, my 4/4 and driving back up the M5 on the way home, the word "Nero" popped into my head! So Nero it is!

Well, we changed our roadster for an Aero +8, dark metallic bronze. A number of less than repeatable names were suggested and rejected. Adrian of this place suggested Tarka, because it is an 'Otter Mog and it is a dark, metallic brown and rather rare. The name fits, and so it is to this day. Good call, Adrian.

My 4/4 is simply Moggie. The Plus 8 is Ugly Betty. The DHC is George, and the 52 F Super pile of bits is Henry. The tin tops are nameless . . .

My Plus 8 is Marilyn, after Miss Monroe - great curves and plenty of oomph!
