You know I like poodling along not racing, Brooklands Test Hill was ok though short!
Anyway, my car doesn't sound as good as yours!

I am tempted to go but as I have never done a dash up a hill I am not sure about finding the limit of my driving skills in the Aero so may just watch the more skilful among you driving.

You can go as slow or fast as you like, have a go it's great fun, take it easy and you'll really enjoy it.

Btw it's not a timed event, strictly for fun.

I felt the same but have now done both "Thrills" and loved it both times. You really can go at your own pace and I felt under no pressure to exceed my limits. Mind you I drive a humble 4/4 not a mighty aero.

Unfortunately can't get to the next run as we will be traveling to Venice on the orient express, a long standing ambition.

Hope you make the run, I'm sure you will go back for more.

Come along and saunter up the hill - it's a great day and no one is timing anything. When else can you drive up the historic Shelsley course and enjoy a MOG filled day?

All you have to do is blast off the start line with lots of wheel spin, noise and smoke to please everyone watching and then just pootle up the hill at your own pace!

Exactly! Went along last year having bought my Roadster with a complimentary ticket from Newtown Motors, and loved every minute. We arrived early, found ourselves parked in bay #1, and revelled in the atmosphere and charm of the place for half an hour, while having breakfast, and then had our first run.
I suppose I was slightly nervous about writing off my pride and joy, but once I started up the Hill, it was a great run on a wonderful course at my own speed - and then another run to come later on. I could have gone up over and over again. Can't wait to do it again.
