Thanks all. I think I will give this one a wide berth and keep looking.
Steve Steve, Rob brooks has a series 1 car in BMW Alvis blue for sale. This is his 2nd one, I had the foist one from him and he takes great care of his cars…..would be worth your time to call him. He has an advert in the For sale section. Cheers.

Em Not for me, :snowball: like to be legal. Don't worry Ray...... We didn't spot anything illegal in your garden from the chopper, I have the photos to prove it too.... No "funny vegetation", naturist activities, illegals in the caravan.....

In the photo showing the battery I can see a couple of what look like kinks in the lower part of the chassis, below where the top has 2 formed dips. They show as breaks in the reflected light.
Can't see similar on the other side in the other pic.
The end product looks good, but....a proper check seems wise.
That COULD be a good buy.

Those kinks are designed in and are part of the collapse mechanism. So standard to the aero chassis.
