Guys if you look back you will see I've added a fuel tank drain. I measure what goes in, then after each session I drain the tank. Working out what I've used againt track distance and how many laps, I can work out mpg and how much I'll need for the race etc

Why not one of these flow meter , won't the fuel used vary track to track and depend on practice or race and conditions, with this you could see real time. Unless your weight is an issue, the car I mean. grin2

If the weight of fuel is such an issue it makes me think that either this car will be right at the bottom of the allowed weight range - if there is such a limit - or that it uses so much fuel that running out before the end could be an issue....

Yes the fuel usage will alter from track to track. This is the best way to monitor it for this reason

Both reasons are correct but being as light as possibly in our class is the main reason
