Anyone had any thoughts on a small car scissor lift for working on the 3w?

I am using two little lift for Quad (695kg)

I was thinking about a couple lifts, the EZ Car Lift and the MaxJack. They both seem like overkill for a ~500kg car, but could be useful with my other vehicles.

The EZ Car Lift is neat and tidy, but the cost seems fairly high at around $2k USD. access looks good though. light a portable. ~26" lift, so creeper is required.

The Max Jack is a shorter version of a two post lift. Also around $2k USD but seems more versatile. Claim is that it can be unbolted and moved to storage. ~50 inch lift, so roll around seat is likely appropriate.

I looked at a traditional scissor lift, but the under car access seemed much less the above mentioned. Just my opinion.

I'd be keen to see the twin ATV setup up mentioned by atalante83. Can you post a pic?

Thanks for the shots. However I don't think you should jack the rear end on the ash subframe!!!!

Now this is going to sound mad and dangerous but here me out.
I've been having thoughts that a wide fork high lift pallet truck could be used to lift the 3W. They operate in confined spaces with only a small arc of movement reqired to jack. Also they have good fine control. Am I missing something?

Picking up a Morgan on forks isn't a problem, so long as you can be sure you are doing it on chassis members and not bodywork. Kevin has a fork lift in one of his workshops, here's my car on it, being built up on the new chassis.

You need to ensure centre of gravity is between the forks to avoid any regret. A set of hard rubber or wooden buffers may be in order

GPWM. With the engine hanging out the front, the CoG is going to be quite a long way forward too. A safety strap from the rear down to the ground to stop it tipping might not be a bad plan if you are going to go down this route, especially as pallet truck forks aren't very wide apart.
