just spoke to Brands Hatch Morgan, who confirmed base price (incl VAT) at £79k
apparently no customer cars until 2016.
dealer demos to be released to all dealers at the same time Sounds like better value when compared to the plus 8, but I guess we wont know the true cost until the standard spec is provided in more detail. Could be Morgan will decide this after the level of Geneva interest/advanced orders are understood. Canny Move?? Compared to Aero 8, Plus 8 is way overpriced. Apparently, its price is being reduced. The Plus 8 speedster had a low base price, but many things were cost options such as airbags, power steering and a/c I hope Morgan doesn't pull the same stunt with this Aero 8

I hope Morgan doesn't pull the same stunt with this Aero 8 In the press release they are stating: "Largest options list of any Morgan sports car to date". I fear that more than something will not be part of the standard equipment.

Seems like a great move for the business.
Sensible price given the hand made status. Hardtop is a good thing which has been mentioned on the board here many times.
I will wait before giving any comments on the rear styling until I see it in the flesh.
As for the fuel filling, if it means you can get a full tank in and not take ages then it will actually save time over the Coupe !

I like this, it could make me become a very naughty boy though as I would have to obtain a lot of cash illegally to enable me to buy one: unless I win the lottery so tonight I'll dream of lottery/ ernie winnings.... or even ro..... no I must not go there, write it out 500 times!

OMG! Think I've just had a multiple Morgasm! I want one! Extra lottery ticket this week! Beautiful!  Me too. Just asked Nicky if I can have one ... And she said yes ! Then 5 mins later texted to remind me to get lottery ticket. Oh well. That's very good of Nicky! That's agreed then - you & I will have matching ones as we do with the 4/4 Sports!  we're on an extra lottery ticket this week too....

I'm trying very hard not to find a justification for buying one  The justification for not buying one is that it would result in divorve.  has made it clear I can't buy another car for at least 3 years. Seems a small price to pay for such a beautiful car!
