So I'll go to MMC and admire the Aero 8 and although I could afford one I wouldn't buy one...
Peter - I HAVE A PLAN !! As you can afford one, but I can't, buy it, I'll keep her in my garage, FREE OF CHARGE, and give her the occasional (  ) outing. You can pop over whenever Caroline's busy and have a run out yourself. Ca plume de ma tante, everyone's a winner  Cheers !

I think though my garage is a more central location! Now that's a GREAT idea John...except with the "longest list of options" we'll never agree what the spec should be. Unless we just go for the £66k plus VAT base spec. But then, what colour...

Mike,
the BMW V8 is now re-homologated by BMW to Euro 6, so they will be available as long as BMW keep making them. So no worries.
The LSD diff is now also BMW!
I've long believed that in the end BMW will be the white knight that saves Morgan, just as Mercedes AMG will save Aston Martin.

The M3W is near to being a motorbike right ?

Red line is at 6000 rpm I think in the pictures... Rather lower than actual red-line for the 4.8 so is there a plan for some other engine or is the red-line just wrong or a warning...?
It does seem fashionable to have tachometers changing in the red rather than at or before it from watching video games and cetera.
Bonnet looks much the same as before so unlikely to take a straight 6 although chassis and suspension changes may allow for this of course.
Went into the garage last night and gave my S3 a good polish and clean and got to quite like the rear end even if I do think it needs a spoiler. Does anyone know where to get a decent rear spoiler for the S2, S3, S4 boot because I am beginning to think it will keep my old girl looking fresher and help high speed rear end grip (perhaps a little - if the spoiler actually does something). Must have a chat with Brett at BHM - his racing Aero had a spoiler...

The new Aero: I have always liked the Aero and now an S1 is affordable but this latest version is just so beautiful. I've said before that I am not too interested in cars per se but Morgans are something else and I take my hat off to them for having this vision . Charles Morgan made this happen and the team now have something to be really proud of.

I view the new Aero 8 rather like a celebrity, or super model: stunning to look at and admire but not someone you'd really want to spend a lot of time with. I've driven a Supersports and a couple of Aero 8s and felt much the same: impressive but not really appealing. I bought Tarka because whilst she has many of the desirable Aero features she doesn't look like one... I really like the Trad look (and lack of boot)! So I'll go to MMC and admire the Aero 8 and although I could afford one I wouldn't buy one. I'm actually much more interested in a M3W  Horses for courses Peter ... but your still going on about that "BOOT"

After all you can take the SS (with a passenger) to the supermarket and fill up with a weeks shopping. You can go away for a week with your luggage. In fact, the SS is like finding out that the supermodel owns a drill, vice and a shed. (If I want a car with no practicalities I'd buy a M3W)_
