BMW engines ok until end of 2017 according to Charles' article and using a BMW diff vice the BTR one. Hood is NOT fully finished so show cars do not have them. Ok so thats why they haven't shown the hood. They are tough to get right - the final hood in the s4 was pretty ok, once the factory had tweaked it several times. Let's hope the new hood is a big step forward. Given the coupe run ends next month I'm wondering if that means coupes will end up rarer than Aeromaxes... Probably!

Yes, can't be more than 50 Coupes and probably only 10 RHD ones from what little I've seen...
I reckon those will be great if you get one with good doors!

And according the Miscellany, the boot hinges are going to be revised to give more space in the boot. agree, the hinges look very crude at the moment luckily they have time to improve them

I'm really not sure why they designed the boot that way round , any ideas ? Agree its different but I guess the large hinge stays wouldn't fit the other way around as they take up a bit of space so it cantilevers up also you wouldn't want to be going to the back of the car everytime you wanted to fill up or raise and lower the hood with this arrangement you can do everything from the side .... I think
