If it helps my 4/4 & +4 never did that.
My Roadster doesn't but it has a windbreak behind the seats

My 2010 4/4 sport does it as well - a microfibre cloth should come s standard issue to clear the screen & mirror - or maybe wipers both sides of the glass?!

Both my Traditional +8's and the 4/4 Sport did it - very speed dependent I found... laugh2

As Phill says a microfibre or a roll of Udder wipes keeps it under control.

To prove it one way or another.

Clean the cabin. Take it for a drive on an empty damp road and repeat on a damp road in traffic.

If purely the vertical screen then on empty road it should remain clean.

I do like Jays idea sellotape 1 metre bits of wool to the top of the windscreen and film the results.

On my 3rd Morgan, first was a 1981 4 seater, then a 2004 2 seater and now a 2014 2 seater. All have had water on the inside of the windscreen in medium to heavy rain with the hood down and I am suprised that some don't. Depending on the speed simply using the windscreen washers will coat the inside with water. I always have a chamois leather in the side pocket which sorts everything out.

It comes in off the windscreen in heavy rain, but Peter was talking of spray & maybe wrongly I assumed he meant wet roads but no rain.

That is what he meant John - I have witnessed it, definitely more present in his Plus 8 than my Roadster on the same roads as I did a run in mine after Peter left.

Its got to be the laminar flow over and around the windscreen. there is an area of low pressure formed behind the wind screen as it travels through the air. This will suck every thing around it in. What we must remember all the dirt and moisture that makes a car dirty in daily use gets sucked in. This also lands on us in an open car. WE ALL CALL IT FRESH AIR. roses
