NEVER EVER wear a baseball cap in the UK. I'd buy you lunch to throw it away..  Just how many lunches are you offering to buy? It'd have to be a nice lunch for me to part with by beaten up kiwi BBC

It'd have to be a nice lunch for me to part with by beaten up kiwi BBC I have a selection of over 60 visor orientated head wear, I would be happy to part with them one at a time for lunch. At AUD$2 in Bali, I could go into retiremnt and never have to pay for a meal

I have a sheepskin lined aviator for the winter and I have to admit to wearing a beret for the warmer times....ex military ,nicely worn in and with leather headband grips well at high speed...stayed on at 130 mph in my Bugatti T35 replica !!!

I have a selection of over 60 visor orientated head wear, Even the term visor is American English. A baseball cap has a visor. C'mon guys you are driving a British car. Your flat cap, baker boy cap, or cricket cap has a peak  Next you will be saying that the Aero has a trunk

I fear a Morgan driver wearing a flat 'at here would bring forth derision on the wearer and the marque. Most wear baseball caps

All this crap about what to wear I dont give a sh*t what I WEAR or for that matter what anyone else wears as long as I enjoy the mog and a 1/2 with a fellow mogger THATS ALL THAT COUNTS .

Don't get upset John. It's just me having a stir about the widespread use American English and American terms when we have perfectly good English terms that are falling into disuse. Mainly due to the domination of American film and Television. Here is a virtual half for you (you can cash it in for a real half at TOTH )

 dont touch the stuff 1/2 of the black stuff and thats my limit .Not much company in a pub anymore my old mates claim.  Anyway I dont speak English I speak Geordie .
