A couple of interesting videos. The guy, spectacles on forehead, looking over the top of The Beast, in the opening still, is Mark Walker- a racer of similar vintage machines, which are regularly driven on public roads to and from race meetings.
The Bequet Delage features in an article printed in the March copy of 'Classic and Sports Car'. Driven in the video by journalist Mick Walsh, it is shown emerging from one of the buildings at Bicester Heritage, an ex Royal Air Force base now housing a number of companies involved in vintage and classic vehicles.

I noticed that the seat for the Beast had a hole in the middle ....

I noticed that the seat for the Beast had a hole in the middle .... Driving this monster in anger in it's heyday certainly wasn't for the timid! Hard to imagine how the chassis, wheels and tires withstood the forces imposed on them in competitive events...

Nice to see The Beast being built in a proper workshop with old carpet on the floor! A brave guy turning it over!
The Delage is a lovely car...just a shame the paint looks too perfect. I hate over restoration.
