Peter, You mention that Robert L doesn't have the same spray issues as you have with almost the same car. Some trad owners reported that they have the spray on the inside, others haven't.
I don't think that the cars are so different within one product-line, there must be other reasons. The biggest difference that I can imagine then is the road- and weather-conditions of the drive. Not everyone is driving top-down under the same conditions. And the second aspect is simply awareness. Some people focus on squeaks, others on rev-hanging, handling or spray.
A Morgan is far from being perfect. That's why I like it.

Is Malvern littered with strange caps. At least you managed to find yours on the A4069 Black Mountain road! I was starting to wonder where you got to!

A long walk down the hill, it is a very aerodynamic cap. Went further than the Wright brothers.

I'm now more confused than ever.
I asked Robert L, fellow Plus 8 owner in LogMog, about the water on the inside of the screen when driving on wet roads.
He has never experienced this...
The only differences between the cars are his car has standard Plus 8 wheels and a full roll over bar, supplied by the factory.
Wierd.... Maybe it's your hairdo that's causing the turbulance, sorry couldn't resist

You beat me to it Adrian! A bit of experimenting is called for Peter. Let Caroline take it out by herself and see if the problem is still there. If it not, it must be down to you as driver. The next step is to get a number 1 haircut and see if that improves things!

Em True...but we were driving her fast enough to stop the smoke from the back tyres getting in!

I think styling wax to hold a more aerodynamic shape would be more effective. maybe a ski mask or even a cut off pantyhose, pulled above your head to press the hair close to the head may do the job as well, and you do not need to wash your hair after the test drive. But you should avoid parking near a bank while dressed up this way ...
