A great little film, but I wish they had worked with Tallisker! I'm not a great fan of Balvenie!

One of the great things about malt whisky is the sheer variety of different styles and flavours out there. Whereas I find that Cognac is really variations of quality on the same theme, a Macallan could not be more different to a Laphroaig or a Balvenie to a Talisker; I've always said that there is a malt to satisfy my every mood.

Vive la différence !!

For the record, I think the Balvenie double wood is a cracking drop.

As to the film, thanks for posting. Most of the films I've seen of the factory are about the shaping wood and the bashing of metal. What makes this film different is that it is about the people.

So would I. Balvenie is my scotch of choice, either double wood or founders reserve.

I really struggle to like whisky and I have tried very hard with all sorts of Scottish malts from clean tasting ones through to the peatiest, smoky Obans and Taliskers of the the world but after watching that video and subsequently signing up on the Balvenie web site, I've got a hankering after a snifter
