I know there are some other guitarists on TalkMorgan so I thought I'd post a pic of my latest acquisition, a Luxxtone El Machete with Joe Morris artwork. I just couldn't resist it when Jeff at World Guitars said he could get it for me. Sounds awesome!

Yep, the whole thing is pretty much relic'd. The body has been textured to bring out the grain and the neck is done in what they call roasted maple. All the machinery is similarly aged.
Luxxtone is a very small company, the luthier is a guy called Jerry Bizon, and they don't make many guitars, mine is number 73.

Its good to see other mogsters have ...."GAS" .........(Guitar acquisition syndrome) . Good spot, yes the switch is 4-position with a coil tap on the Humbucker. It's the first Floyd Rose-equipped guitar I've owned, takes a bit of getting used to, but the divebombs are great! As anyone with GAS knows, the ideal number of guitars to own is either X+1 or Y-1, where X = the number of guitars currently owned and Y is the number at which 'er indoors will kick you out...

I firmly believe you should have a separate (new) guitar for every different genre that you play or attempt to play..........and I'm very eclectic
